Passenger Dies After Mini-cab Hit on Fulham Palace Road

A 54-year-old woman has died in hospital after the mini-cab in which she was travelling was hit by another vehicle in Fulham.
She and another female passenger were in the back seat of a Toyota Prius near the junction of Fulham Palace Road and Niton Street at around 10:28pm on 10 December when they collided with a Audi Q7.
The mini-cab driver suffered minor injuries while the other passenger remains in hospital in a serious condition.
A 27-year-old man from the Audi was arrested at the scene for failing to undergo a breath test. He was taken into custody has been bailed to return in early January pending further enquiries.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Detective Constable Jenny Burr, of the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, said, “This was a serious collision which very sadly resulted in a fatality. We have heard from some people who were in the vicinity but we think there are other witnesses who may not yet have come forward.
“If you were in the area, saw the incident or have dashcam footage, we would like to speak to you. Any information could help, no matter how insignificant you might think it is.”
