Taxi Crashes Through Barrier on Hammersmith Broadway

A taxi crashed through a barrier on the Hammersmith Broadway gyratory in the early hours of Wednesday morning (20 January).

The picture above which was taken just after 6.30am shows the cab balanced on the raised kerb by the road having flattened the metal railings. The car appears to have spun out of control close to the junction with Hammersmith Bridge Road and mounted the pavement near Lala Brasserie.

Details of the crash are currently not known but there is nothing to indicate that the driver, passengers or any pedestrians were seriously hurt in the collision.
