· 49 candidates (nearly one in three) got AAA or better

· 29 candidates got AAAA or better

GCSE

· 71% A*/A

· 100% of candidates gained 5 or more passes

· 17 candidates gained 80 points or more (the equivalent of 10 A*s)

· three pupils awarded one of the top 5 marks by their board (two for English, one for French)

Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate for most of their subjects.

Primary Schools

Primary schools in Hammersmith & Fulham have put the borough in the top three in inner London with their latest test results for 11-year-olds.

The 36 primary schools were joint third in inner London in their national tests for 11-year-olds in maths, science and English, at level four and above. The borough's aggregate score was 239, which was also seven points above the national aggregate of 232.

At level five and above - a higher level of the test - pupils also performed well, coming joint top in English out of the 12 inner London boroughs.

The results in the tests (formerly known as SATS), which pupils sat in May, were:

The figures, published by the Government are provisional and are expected to go up slightly when amended results are published with primary school league tables later this year.
