Fulham Market Hall

Fulham Market Hall, which opened this month, is already proving popular with all day eating and drinking from a range of kitchens within the airy glass roofed space which was formerly Fulham Broadway tube station's ticket hall. You can find out more about what's on offer at the Market Hall here.

On Lillie Road, close to the junction with North End Road, Bistro Mirey  is a culinary partnership between Gerald Mirey and Ko Ito, serving bistro style French food, with the influences of Japan and beyond. This late spring, it is offering the Soba, or buckwheat, Galette, one of the best
and most loved dishes in Japan.

Two more new names, facing each other on opposite sides of Fulham Road are Per Bacco - which means 'oh wow' in Italian - where chef Stefano Arrigoni is offering modern Italian fare with a hint of Asian flair, and the Flavourtown Bakery, offering freshly baked cupcakes, cakes and brownies, including vegan choices. These new openings follow a number of closures during winter, including two of Fulham's best known restaurants The Greedy Buddha on Wandsworth Bridge Road and Del Aziz on Fulham Broadway. On Eel Brook Common, The Eel Brook has also closed its doors, but the management say it will be reopening in summer with a new format.

The Hanger Steak at the foot of North End Road was another recently casualty but while other premises remain empty, this spot, opposite Waitrose has also been taken over by Ardiciocca where owner Roberto Costa and chef Simona Ranieri offer a celebration of Italian Mediterranean cuisine, with authentic gluten and sugar free ingredients.
