Long established premises close to Broadway sold this week for almost £5 million

Estate agent Amber & Co says sale of the site, which has been on the market for some time, was completed this week, with the buyers paying close to the asking price of £5,000,000.

And though it was sold with potential for redevelopment into ten new flats, a spokesman for the agent says the new owners intend it to be dedicated to a new branch of their international chain, which includes locations such as Geneva and Dubai.

Kishmish, formerly the East India restaurant, set between Fulham Broadway and Chelsea Football Ground was a longstanding favourite with local people, and was particularly busy on matchdays.
