easyGym Opens on North End Road on June 30

After million pound investment by no-contract budget chain

easyGym, the budget chain devised by easyJet founder Stelios, is opening its newest gym on North End Road on June 30.

The chain, says it is investing a million pounds transforming the unit, which was formally Fitrooms, into a fully air-conditioned, state of the art gym and has created 20 local jobs in the process.

It says its no-contract price is among the lowest in the country, at £19.99 per month, with customers who join before the gym opens being able to join at discount prices, starting with £4.99 per month and going up in £1 increments until the full price is reached.

The current price is displayed on the easyGym website, and also includes a no joining fee offer – a further saving of £25. Those joining before opening will also receive unlimited group personal training for the first month to help them towards their goals.

The gym will have four huge fitness zones, with all the latest interactive options, so customers can YouTube, Facebook, email and Google as they work out.

Says easyGym’s CEO Paul Lorimer-Wing: " Our secret is giving 'freedom to do more' – at prices that just knock people out, they’re so reasonable. easyGym is challenging the conventions of both the budget and the premium gyms in the same radical way that its sister brand easyJet transformed air travel."

The club, at 254 - 258 North End Road, will open at 6am on Monday June 30, and opening hours will be 6am – 11pm Monday – Saturday and 8am – 8pm Sundays. To find out more about the Fulham easyGym go here
