To mark the occasion, Europe’s oldest Harley-Davidson dealership threw open its doors and teamed up with local pubs the Hand and Flower and the Rose to throw a party for bike fans and enthusiasts from across the country.

In 1924 F.J Warr opened a motor bicycle repair shop on London’s King’s Rd. That same year he became an agent for the Harley-Davidson Motor Co. of Milwaukee, USA and Warr’s Harley-Davidson was born.

At that time the flagship of the Harley range was the 'Silent Gray Fellow’, which would have cost a princely £85.

Doors were open on Sunday from 10am with a line-up, including music from four authentic live Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll bands, a presentation from owner John Warr and an array of food and drink from local eateries.

Bike fans discussed the big event on Twitter at a special anniversary hashtag, #Warrs90 and many of them, including members of the Chelsea and Fulham Harley Owners Group will be back on the Kings Road this Sunday, June 8 to gather for a special celebration ride.
