The Society of Fulham Artists and Potters are back at Fulham Library this week for their for their Autumn Exhibition.

This members only exhibition, held in the exhibition hall of the library at 598 Fulham Road includes works from professional as well as amateur artists from in and around the area, in keeping with the community spirit.

The exhibition is showing a variety of works from painting to printmaking, including some digitally altered photography, as well as pottery, ceramics and sculpture.

There are also unframed works for sale in browsers as well as cards.

The exhibition is open daily from today 14 November till Sunday 18 - from 10am till 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday, from 10am till 5pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am till 3pm on Sunday.

Entry to the exhibition is free and everyone is welcome. SOFAP say it offers a wonderful opportunity not only to view but also to purchase original two- and three-dimensional works of art.

The society is now a member of OwnArt, which is backed by the Arts Council in the UK. It is a scheme which makes an interest-free loan available to those purchasing any artwork at one of our exhibitions, priced from £100 – £2,500, spread over a ten month period.

The Society of Fulham Artists was founded in 1952 as a not-for-profit organisation "to encourage the practice and exhibition of the work of local artists in association, and to attract and interest the public in the visual Arts."

Membership is open to anyone over the age of eighteen living, working or studying in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and neighbouring boroughs. You can find out more about joining the society here.
