Fulham Artists and Potters Hold Autumn Exhibition


Open at Fulham Library every day till Sunday 19 November

The Society of Fulham Artists and Potters is back at Fulham Library for its Autumn Art Exhibition and Sale.

This very popular sale of affordable paintings and ceramics is at the Exhibition Hall on the first floor of the library at 598 Fulham Road.

Entry is free and the sale is open from 10am till 8pm today and tomorrow, 15 and 16 November, 10am till 5pm on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November and 11am till 5pm on Sunday 19 November.

Included in the exhibition are hundreds of paintings, incuding local landscapes, floral pictures and collages, plus pottery, ceramics and original handmade cards.

The society is now a memmber of OwnArt, which is backed by the Arts Council in the U.K. It makes purchases of art easy and affordable by letting buyers spread the cost of works over £100 up to £2,500 payable over 10 months.

The Society of Fulham Artists was founded in 1952 as a not-for-profit organisation " to encourage the practice and exhibition of the work of local artists in association, and to attract and interest the public in the visual Arts."

Membership is open to anyone over the age of eighteen living, working or studying in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and neighbouring boroughs. You can find out more about joining the society here.
