Woman Suspected of Break In at Health and Beauty Sanctuary

Owners of Skin Retreat ask anyone with information to contact police

The owners of Skin Retreat in Wandsworth Bridge Road  have been clearing up while continuing to trade as normal since being broken into in the early hours of Thursday July 11.

Jenny and Christine, who have run the health and beauty sanctuary since it moved into 111 Wandsworth Bridge Road a year ago, say an unknown person smashed both their front windows and stole valuable products around 12.45am on July 11.

They say: " The full details are yet to be confirmed but a suspect is in custody, two men driving past at the time of the incident and stopped the lady and flagged down police as they were passing.

" There are of course some good people out there. It appears to be just a random hurtful and unprovoked attack and we are now trying to take something positive out of a bad situation.

" We are extremely grateful to the two men involved and of course want to thank them, also anyone who gave witness statements and not least Brian and the guys from Randalls Butchers and Angell for helping us clean up and get back on our feet.

" We are of course extremely saddened by the incident due to us only being open a year and new to Fulham. We are a family run business and have built up a loyal, local following. We are of course still trading as normal."

Anyone with further information about the incident is asked to contact local Safer Neighbourhood Team on 020 7161 0166.
