Help Shape the Future of Fulham's North End Road

Give your views on million pound plans for shopping street

H&F Council is asking the Fulham community to offer their views on a planned community-led redesign of North End Road in Fulham.

The council says it has been working with businesses, traders and residents to improve North End Road as a thriving retail and food destination for the last five years.

Now it is ready to move to the next stage, thanks to new funding – including £1 million negotiated from property developers.

Residents can give their views in their own homes by completing an online survey.

Local people can also discuss ideas face to face and give their opinions on 8 February (from 2pm to 6pm) and 9 February (from 10am to 2pm) at St John’s Church in North End Road.

The cuncil says, based on the responses to this and the online questionnaire, it will come up with a plan for the way forward, which will involve further consultation.

The council says it aims to:

  • Create a thriving, sustainable and welcoming high street
  • Make improvements to one of the borough's favourite markets
  • Encourage more people to visit and spend money in North End Road
  • Do things with residents and businesses – not to them.
  • An initial £1 million of funding has been identified and they have applied for additional funding from the Mayor of London’s Liveable Neighbourhoods Fund.
