Molly the Cat is Safely Back Home

But now a new tabby is lost in SW6

Molly, the tabby cat who went missing from home in the South Park area has been found safe and well.

Her delighted owner, photographer and musician Laurie Asprey reports: " I had been searching for Molly for days with no success, but then a neighbour suddenly spotted her sitting in a local garden and climbed over a wall to reach her and bring her home.

"She is none the worse for her adventure, and I suspect she had found someone else to feed her while she was missing,"

The next day, however, Laurie found himself with one cat too many. " Another neighbour told me he had seen a cat that he thought was Molly going back and forward across Wandsworth Bridge Road."

Worried that the cat might come to harm in the busy traffic, Laurie collected it and took it to Paws Inc vets on Dawes Road, where staff are looking after it while looking for its owner.

They say the cat is a handsome neutered male wearing a red collar, but without a tag or a microchip.
