Famous old girl returns for evening talk

Lady Margaret School in Parsons Green is hosting an evening with Janet Street-Porter, a former pupil at the school, on Tuessday, September 14 at 7pm.

Janet is one of the school's best known old girls having studied there from 1958 - 64. She then became the first pupil from Lady Margaret to study architecture, before dropping out to begin her long media career.

During the evening, she will talk about her life in broadcasting, writing, publishing, education and rambling.

Tickets for the evening cost £10 for adults and £5 for under 18s and all proceeds go to the school's new Olivier Centre, of which Janet is a trustee.
