New owners Bypass Nurseries Ltd, who also run The Chelsea Gardener in Chelsea's Sydney Street, have spent months refurbishing the iconic building, which has been empty for two and a half years, when it was closed down by the Prince's Trust charity.

The centre is offering indoor and outdoor plants, furniture, accessories and gifts and decorations and a range of planting, design and maintenance services.

Also now open is the Glasshouse Café, managed by the Massarella family, with generations of experience in catering with an Italian flavour. It will be serving fresh, simple, quality dishes throughout the day, from homemade granola to freshly made focaccia sandwiches and healthy salads as well as daily chef specials.

The café also welcomes children of all ages from toddlers to teenagers, with a special kids' menu, and outside seating for sunny days.

The Palace Garden is open seven days a week, from 9am till 6pm and 11am till 5pm on Sundays. Find out more on the website.
