New garden centre at Fulham Palace asks local people for help tailoring products
The Palace Gardener, the new garden centre being opened on the site of the former Fulham Palace Garden Centre is set to to launch on 14 March.
Work by new owners Bypass Nurseries Ltd, who also run The Chelsea Gardener in Chelsea's Sydney Street, is now underway refurbishing the iconic building on Fulham Palace Road, which has been empty for two and a half years.
The company say they are now recruiting a new team for the centre and are asking applicants to sent a CV and a brief covering letter to info@palacegardener.com
The team at the centre say they are also keen to hear from potential customers, in order to tailor their product range and services to meet their gardening needs and expectations.
They are asking local people to complete a short survey, which can be found here, by the end of February and in return anyone who completes the form and adds their name and address will be sent a voucher offering a 10% discount on all products purchased during March, and an invitation to the formal launch party to be held in April.
The garden centre and its iconic glasshouses were closed down by the Prince's Trust charity in August 2014.
