Fulham Society Presents Awards for SW6's Best Front Gardens


And congratulates entrants for giving us all 'something joyful to behold'

 

The proud owners of Fulham's lovely gardens have been given well deserved awards by The Fulham Society.

The winner of the Best Front Garden, was Laura Webb of Novello Street, pictured above, with Wendy Eyre of Hazlebury Road the runner-up and Anne Cirardi of Waterford Road, pictured top, highly commended.

Nadia Kawash of Clonmel Road won the Best Planters category  with Aldo Tamarasco of Kimbell Gardens and Sarah Morphet of Daisy Lane the joint runners up and Patrick Blake of Peterborough Road, pictured below, highly commended.

The splendid Best hedge in Fulham meanwhile belongs to Michele Donaghey ( and husband) of Pearscroft Road.

 

The awards were presented at The Fulham Society's annual Summer Party at Fulham Palace on Monday 15 July. The Society congratulated the winners and all who took part, saying the standard was extremely high and thanked the entrants for giving us all "something joyful to behold".

The society says it plans to hold this event again in June 2020, so start getting to work on those gardens now!
