With moves, makeovers, new arrivals and departures
It's all change this month for many of the businesses on the stretch of Fulham Road between Parsons Green Lane and Munster Road, with new openings, moves and makeovers for some of our best loved shops.
Much loved bookstore Nomad Books has closed while it undergoes a refurbishment and will be reopened in September.
Emma Bridgewater's current shop has closed, and is moving slightly further west to a new location at 779 Fulham Road, where it will also reopen next month.
The Brown Cow Pub is getting a facelift, which means it will close next week from Monday August 17. However, independent bakery Halva will reopen on August 17 after closing for a two week holiday.
Italian restaurant Gola is also closed during August but says it will reopen in September with a brand new seafood menu.
This summer has been busy on Fulham Road and has seen departures, with the closure of Hip Hair and Indian restaurant Dalcha, but also new arrivals, with the opening of the Secret Oasis Spa and Steam Room at 765 Fulham Road, joining other recent newcomers including Korean restaurant Hamgipak, indoor cycling studio Ride Republic and pilates and fitness studio Heartcore.
