Fulham Palace is hosting a number of History Tours throughout November, beginning on Wednesday 1 November at 12.30pm.

Learn the secrets of Fulham Palace on these Historical Tours through the garden and public rooms of the Palace. £6 per person, accompanied children free, no booking necessary, meet in the Museum. Click here for more information on tours.

History Tours continue on Sunday 5, 12, 19 and 26 November and Tuesday 21 November, all at 12.30pm.

You can also take a Garden Walk on Thursday 2 November at 12.30pm.

Palace Explorers are fun and creative facilitated sessions are geared specifically to 2-4 year olds and their adults. Each week offers the chance to explore and learn together through a specific theme, with arts and crafts, storytelling and dressing up, games, gardening, singing and whole host of other delights!

Palace Explorers take place on Monday 6, 13, 20 and 27 and Tuesday 7, 14, 21 and 28 November from 9.30am till 10.30am. Each session costs £5 per child, click here to learn more and book.

On Sunday 19 November, from 1pm-3pm, Hands-on Archaeology offers an opportunity to get up close and personal with archaeology at Fulham Palace, and learn more about the rich and varied history of this ancient site.

This free drop-in session is for archaeology enthusiasts of all ages This month’s theme is Delve into the Dovecot and provides an early opportunity to discover all that the October Community Archaeology Dig has uncovered!

On Monday 20 November, from 2pm - 3.15pm learn about Fulham Palace Through Postcards.

Postcard collecting rapidly became a popular hobby soon after the halfpenny postal rate was introduced in 1902. Although Fulham Palace was a private residence, postcards were produced of the exterior, interior and the Bishops themselves. Curator Miranda Poliakoff will give an illustrated talk on her research for the current exhibition of Fulham Palace Through Postcards, which can be seen until April next year.

On Wednesday 29 November, 4.30pm-6pm, there is a Children’s Christmas Sewing Bee.

In this junior seasonal rendition of the palace's popular Palace Sewing Bee, your child will learn the basics of this traditional craft and create a wonderful Christmas surprise to take home. A fun and creative workshop, the activities are geared specifically at budding young sewing enthusiasts and do not require any prior knowledge or skills.

This month you can also book places at Christmas events taking place at Fulham Palace in December, including Floristry Workshops on 2 and 3 December, Carols by Candlelight on 3 December,  Celebration of Christmas Past on 7 December, Christmas Pantomime - which this year is Jack and the Beanstalk - on 10 December and Christmas Carole Concert on 13 December.
