Edwardian Garden Party plus archaeology and gardening for kids

Young Archaeologists’ Club

Before the Bishops of London acquired Fulham Palace, there was a Roman settlement on the site.  The fifth Young Archaeologists' Club will explore what it was like to be a Roman during this time.

Meeting monthly on Saturday mornings, the Fulham Palace Young Archaeologists’ Club will explore the fascinating world of archaeology through practical hands on sessions with real archaeologists.  For 8-16 year olds, children attend independently.

Little Green Fingers Gardening Session

Learn how vegetables and flowers grow and have a go at seed sowing in the garden beds and other fun gardening activities.  Suitable for ages 4+, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Edwardian Garden Party

The Bishops of London were well known for holding garden parties at Fulham Palace. Follow in their footsteps on the Main Lawn for a day of family fun including music, crafts, games and dressing up. Free, no booking necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult.


Wed 24 June, 7pm

Fulham Palace Ghost Tour

Hear the tales of hauntings by bishops and other inhabitants of this historic building during this exclusive after-hours ghost tour. Following the tour, enjoy refreshments and the chance to find out more about ghost hunting.

Suitable for ages 14+, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult

Bee Keeping at Fulham Palace

Join volunteer beekeepers for a demonstration and talk about the habits of bees, the life of a hive and how to look after a hive of bees.
