Free evening of cultural entertainment for Museums at Night on May 15

For Museums at Night 2015 Fulham Palace has partnered with the Royal College of Music to create a special site-specific evening of cultural entertainment.


Talented musicians will take you back in time with vignette performances in the Palace’s unique and beautiful settings. Featuring a range of music genres and historical instruments, the programme will highlight some of Palace’s most intriguing stories with atmospheric pieces from the Tudor, Georgian, and Victorian eras.

Monday 18 May, 2pm - At Home with the Bishops: Family life at Fulham Palace

The wives and children of the Bishops of London were often overshadowed. Join Curator Miranda Poliakoff as she shines a spotlight on their lives.

Wednesday 20 May, 10am-4pm - Knitting from Scratch
Join textiles artist Erica Parrett for this one day course covering the basics of knitting, from casting on and off to simple stitches and project ideas.

During this fourth session of the Young Archaeologists' Club, examine, measure and record your finds from the foreshore, just like a professional archaeologist.

Mon 25 May, 1pm-4pm - Young Archaeologists’ Club Drop-in
Interested in archaeology? Join our enthusiastic archaeologist volunteers on the Main Lawn for this hands-on session, and learn more about our new Young Archaeologists' Club!

Fulham Palace Fun Day
A day of family fun including crafts, storytelling and dressing up! In partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Adult Learning and Skills Service.
