With six fascinating lessons lined up from February
Fulham Palace is launched a Young Archaeologist club which six fascinating sessions lined up from February through till summer, with the first session answering the question - What is an Archaeologist?
Meeting monthly on Saturday mornings, the club will explore the fascinating world of archaeology through practical hands on sessions with real archaeologists.
Kids will have the chance to dig, sieve, measure and record your finds learning about ancient civilisations such as the Romans, Vikings and Stone Age. There will be a huge range of sessions on offer, everything from dendrochronology to investigating historic buildings, making traditional crafts to exploring the local Thames foreshore.

The six sessions taking place are:
21st Feb: What is an Archaeologist?
21st March: Where are we? Archaeology at Fulham Palace
18th April: Trip to the Thames: Exploring the local foreshore
23rd May: Finds from the Foreshore
20th June: Being a Roman
18th July: Trees as Archaeology
Tickets cost £15 per child for single sessions.
