The Seven Wonders of Bishop’s Park and Fulham Palace

  • The UK’s slowest growing organism lives here
  • A certain voracious predator here lacks eyes
  • One bird here has evolved faulty waterproofing
  • Some of the largest living things can’t be seen

Intrigued?! Come along on a free guided walk with Brenna Boyle, a professional wildlife guide. Learn about the fascinating species behind these facts, and many more.  To join the walk, meet by the Wild Capital sign on Fulham Palace lawn.

Museum drop-in afternoon

Try on Tudor costumes, handle artefacts and learn about the history of Fulham Palace.

Free, no booking needed, all ages welcome, takes place in the Fulham Palace Museum.

Open Gardens Squares Weekend (OGSW)

During Open Gardens Squares Weekend, Fulham Palace has three special garden tours for OGSW ticket holders only.  Tours take place at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.  Our neighbours at the Fulham Palace Meadows Allotments are also conducting tours of their site.

Historical Tours

Fulham Palace consists of a Tudor manor house with Georgian additions and Victorian chapel – tours visit all areas open to the public and explore this rich history.

Tours begin outdoors with the history of the building and the gardens (weather permitting). Once inside, the group moves through the Great Hall, Victorian Chapel, Bishop Terrick Drawing and Dining Rooms, Bishop Sherlock’s Room and concludes in the two Museum rooms where permanent displays are exhibited. You can purchase a memento of your visit at the Museum shop.

Regular tours take place on the second and fourth Sunday and third Tuesday of the summer months.

Tickets £5 per person (Associates and accompanied children free), booking is not required.

Bishop’s Park Tours 

If you are interested in the history of Bishop’s Park, join a new monthly guided walk of Bishop’s Park and Fulham Palace. This month's walk will be on Wednesday, 12 June.

Tours are free and booking is not required.
Meet 2pm at the Putney Bridge Entrance to Bishops Park.
