Fulham Archaeological Rescue Group talk

Join a talk by Keith Whitehouse on the archaeological work conducted by the Fulham Archaeological Rescue Group since 1972, illustrate with colour slides.

Free, no booking needed, takes place in Bishop Terrick’s Drawing Room at Fulham Palace.

Creative Ideas for the Outdoor Classroom workshop

This professional development workshop is suitable for school teachers and facilitators and Learning Officers working with schools, families and informal groups to engage them with the natural world.

You will experience a variety of creative activities stimulating all the senses, to take away and use to enrich the experiences of your pupils or visitors to your outdoor sites.

The workshop will be facilitated by Laura Hetherington, learning and arts consultant with a specialism in theatre, storytelling and arts-based activities.

The Palace's first gardens lecture series focuses on head gardeners at London properties. The seventh and final speaker is Mark Lane, here to provide an insight into the private gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Palace Art and Craft Fair

The Palace Art and Craft Fair will feature over 60 artists showcasing the best of fine art – painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture – and 60 designer/makers exhibiting orginal and innovative craft – jewellery, textiles, glass, ceramics, furniture and much more.  Housed within the rooms at Fulham Palace and within a purpose built marquee on the front lawn this is the highly anticpated return of a fair which last took place in 2011.

The fair runs from Friday 17 May – Sunday 19 May, with private view tickets available for the evening of Thursday 16 May.

Lecture: Bishops of London who came to a 'sticky end'

During Adult Learning Week, Fulham Palace presents a free illustrated talk by Miranda Poliakoff, Curator of Fulham Palace, as she takes a light-hearted look at some of the Palace residents whose lives were cut short.

Free, no booking required, takes place in the Jessie Mylne Education Centre.
