Where to find festive fun and stock up on stocking fillers

 

Christmas celebrations kick off this weekend at Lady Margaret School in Parsons Green, which is hosting its School Fair from 11am till 3pm on Saturday, 30 November.

The fair will offer a chance to stock up on stocking fillers from a range of and selected artisans and shops, take part in the raffle offering prizes worth over £2,000, join in the silent auction and enjoy tasty treats over lunch or coffee.

On Wednesday, 4 December, the Friends of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital are holding their Christmas Fair in the Atrium, from 10.30am till 3pm.

The fair will offer toys, bric a brac, books, gifts and foodie goodies, plus a tombola and a raffle with lots of fantastic prizes including lunch for two at Brocket Hall, one night for two at a five-star London hotel, £100 cash, a Calvin Klein handbag, and many more. The draw will be made during the Christmas Fair.

There will also be carols from the Imperial College School of Medicine Music Society .

There is also still time to donate items to the fair, including books, toys in very good condition, new or nearly new gifts, bottles for the tombola, jewellery and good condition bric a brac. Donations can be made from to the Friends Office (Ground Floor Lift B) between 10am and 4pm Monday to Thursday.

 

Also on 4 December, the Friends of Charing Cross Hospital will be holding their final monthly book sale of the year, with a chance to find great gifts, including a range of brand new books kindly donated by Random House. The sale is on the first floor by the escalators, from 10am till 2pm.

At Fulham Methodist Church,  by Fulham Broadway shopping centre, Chelsea and Fulham Methodist Church is hosting a free Christmas Fair on 7 December from 11am till 3pm.

There will be soft play available and lots of fun for the whole family, including a special guest appearance from Father Christmas. Guests can also grab a festive bite to eat from the Heartbeat Cafe or buy a festive treat from one of the craft stalls. Plus festive fun musical workshops, especially for those who just love Christmas carolling!
