Friday December 6, 1pm - 6pm
Santa's Grotto, Fulham Broadway

For the third year running, Santa's Grotto is in aid The Haven, a national breast cancer support charity that has a local centre just yards from the centre in Effie Road.

Saturday December 7, noon - 3pm
St Andrew's Church, Greyhound Road Christmas Market

With stalls selling toys, jewellery, knitwear,books, cards, table decorations and lots more plus silent auction, tombola, lucky dip, a kids' corner and refreshments.

Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, all day
Fulham Palace Garden Centre, Bishops Avenue

Early December weekend offers a number of refreshments including mince pies and mulled wine to help keep you going whilst you select your Christmas tree, decorations or gifts. There are also goodies for the children to keep them interested whilst the grown-ups do some Christmas shopping.

Sunday December 8, St John's Church, 6pm
Fulham Brass Band Special Advent Service

Led by Father Mark Osbourne, the band will play their full Christmas set at their final concert of 2013 in Fulham and is free of charge with refreshments available.

On December 10 at 6.30pm, the band will play at New Kings Road wine merchants Friarwood's Wine Carols and on December 12, they will help Celebrate a Life at 6.30pm at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Fulham Road.

Tuesday December 10, 4pm - 6pm
Christmas at Chelsea and Westminster

The event begins at 4pm when special guests, the Chelsea Pensioners will  switch on the Christmas tree lights. This will be followed by music from the All Saints Putney Junior Singers and acapella group Out of the Blue, from ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. During the evening there will be lots of stalls to explore and entertainment for children, including theTeddy Bear Hospital, the Giggle Doctors, Christmas tree decorations and Santa’s Grotto.

There will also be many other stands on display including wellbeing advice for the winter, hints and tips from therapies teams and healthy options for the festive season from the dietetics department.

There will also be two free live lunchtime performances in the hospital ground floor atrium, from 1pm - 1.45pm:

December 12: Christmas Carol Concert with the Westminster Boys' Choir
December 19: Akademi South Asian Dance, Sadhana and Lavina Suthernthiran

Tuesday December 10, 6pm - 8pm
Fairbridge Garden Society Christmas Party

Non members are very welcome to this annual event where you can enjoy wine and canapés, win some great raffle and tombola prizes, and go home with tasty home-made chutneys & preserves. You can also shop for Christmas gifts, decorations and much more within the fantastic atmosphere created within Fulham Palace Garden Centre.

No tickets are necessary, just turn up on the evening and it’s entirely free
