Fulham Horticultural Society Holds Autumn Show on Saturday

Come and see what your neighbours have been growing at St Ethelreda's Church

Fulham Horticultural Society is holding its annual Autumn show this Saturday 7 September in St Etheldreda’s Church Hall in Fulham Palace Road, from 2.30pm till 4.30pm.

This show - the society's 95th - is open to members and non-members and the hall is set to be packed with flowers, vegetables, fruit, jams, cakes and handicrafts.

The show includes classes for flowers, vegetable and fruit and for the more domestically-minded, classes for cakes, jams and bottled and pickled fruits and a range of handicrafts.

There are also classes for children under 16 to show off their gardening and vegetable growing skills.

You can find details of all the classes in the society's 2019 handbook.

Those who don't have anything to show off are welcome to join in, admire the produce and enjoy tea and cake with their neighbours.

There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes and a chance to take home some of the produce at the end of the day.
