Fulham Horticultural Society Holds Autumn Show on Saturday


Show in St Ethelreda's hall open to members and non-members

The Fulham Horticultural Society is holding its Autumn show on Saturday 8 September in St Etheldreda’s Church Hall in Fulham Palace Road.

This show - the society's 94th - is open to members and non-members and the hall is set to be packed with flowers, vegetables, fruit, jams, cakes and handicrafts.

Theshow includes classes for pot-grown plants for those with patios or living in flats plus classes for all sorts of vegetables, and for the more domestically-minded, classes for cakes, jams and bottled and pickled fruits.

The photographic category allows entrants to show off holiday snaps with a horticultural theme and there are also classes for children to show off their creative skills.

Those who don't have anythng to show off are welcome to join in, admire the produce and enjoy tea and cake with their neighbours.
