The Fulham Horticultural Society is holding its annual summer show tomorrow, Saturday July 16. from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, in the hall at St Etheldreda’s Church in Fulham Palace Road.

The show is open to members and non-members and the hall is set to be packed with flowers, vegetables, fruit, jams, cakes and handicrafts as entries pour in for the show’s 71 categories.

Entrants can bring along their produce from 10am, with judging kicking off at noon and the show opening its doors to visitors from 2.30pm.

The society’s chairman Eddie Robinson says: "If you are new to this sort of activity, it is a tremendous opportunity to see the very best and discover by talking, comparing and learning, how to match those standards.

" For the regulars, there is the challenge to improve on previous years, all a constant source of fascination.

" Bring your produce and domestic crafts to the event so that you can share with other like-minded people what you have. Come along and join in."

To enter the Fulham Horticultural Society Summer Show, visit the website to choose from the categories listed in the online handbook.

As well as admiring the produce, visitors can also enjoy tea and cakes.
