Open this Saturday morning outside St John's Church
A new Farmers' Market is opening this Saturday, 11 April outside St John's Church in North End Road.
It will be open from 9am, with the first hour dedicated to the elderly and vulnerable and then from 10am till 1pm for everyone else.
It is being launched by the same team who run the very popular Brook Green Market and Kitchen, which is now open twice a week at Addison Primary School in Hammersmith.
It will offer a range of organic fruit and veg, meat and poultry, artisan bread pasta, cheese, wine and more.
A spokesman says: "At a time like this people really should be eating the freshest food they can get and as some people are finding it very difficult to even get food, we have decided that we will open Fulham Farmers’ Market to give people another option.
"From our other market in Brook Green we see that people view shopping at a market a better environment than a supermarket, people are out in the open and there is room to social distance."
The team say that buying from a Farmers’ Market means you are choosing fresh produce that is packed with nutrients as the time between being picked to sale is really short, and produce that actually tastes better and has flavour.
You are also buying direct from the producer so you can find out exactly how their produce is produced.
Traders at this first market are:
Wild Country Organics and Brambletye Fruit Farm - seasonal British organic, biodynamic and naturally grown fruit and veg
Picks Organic Farm - organic grass fed meat and poultry
The Fish Stall - fresh fish direct from the fishermen
Brambletye Fruit Farm and Picks Oganics Farm - Free range eggs organic and biodynamic eggs
Fresh handmade pasta made locally in London from the producer
The Real Cheese Wives, The French Comte, Eatalian - British, Irish, French, Italian cheese and charcuterie
Olivier's Bakery - artisan organic bread from the producer
Thee Olive Tree - olives, antipasti, harissa, pesto, nuts etc

The team behing the market say: "We will be taking all necessary precautions to safeguard hygiene and welfare. Please try to limit the amount of people that come from one household and please don't all rush in at 10am. There will be plenty, please come throughout the day.
"Please only touch what you will buy, don't touch food and put it back.
"If you have any symptoms like coughing or a temperature please stay away. Maybe ask a neighbour if they can help or call us and we will see what we can do.
" Our market is open air with plenty of space so one can keep a distance from other people. Please can you try to keep a distance of to 2m from each other.
" Our food is direct from farms, and small producers so no factories."
