This Friday, 29 November, Fulham’s festivities get underway with Christmas at the Green.

Local people are invited to Parsons Green from 5.30pm to enjoy music from a Salvation Army Brass Band, carol singing and mulled wine before the Christmas lights are switched on at 6pm.

There will also be a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses from Parsons Green Village and all proceeds going to Glassdoor Homeless Charity.

The celebrations continue over the weekend with Christmas Fairs at Fulham Palace, including a twilight market on Friday 29 November from 6pm till 8pm and fairs on Saturday 30 November from 11am till 5pm and Sunday 1 December from 11am till 4pm.

The fairs will include an indoor and outdoor market, with stalls selling food and gifts made by local traders, plus a garden stall selling handcrafted wreaths and decorations and gifts on sale in the museum shop.

There will also be food, mulled wine, carols in the courtyard, a gift grotto tombola, tuck shop and a range of activities for children including a festive-themed trail, storytelling and free crafts.
