Sunday night sonatas on Walham Green

 

St John's Church on Walham Green is hosting summer concerts on Sunday evenings through May and June.

The concert schedule is as follows:

May 23 - Sackman ('cello) & Ben Woodward (piano)
Brahms Sonata in E Minor, Beethoven Sonata in C and works of Fauré

May 30 - Cathy Fox (violin) & Stuart Hancock (piano)
Beethoven "Spring" Sonata, Mozart Concerto in A, works by Ysaye

June 6 - Robert Presley (baritone) & Andrew Robinson (piano)
Songs by Brahms, Richard Strauss, John Duke and a selection of Spirituals

June 11 (Friday) - Elizabeth Capener (soprano), Greg Tassell (tenor) and Ben Woodward (piano)
Staged scenes from Operas including La Traviata and La Boheme

The concerts begin at 7.30pm following Evensong with doors open 7.00pm;

Tickets £6.50 in advance, or £7 on the door.
