Families  are being invited to step into the jungle this June as Fulham Palace hosts an open-air performance of The Jungle Book in its historic walled garden.

Taking place on Saturday 20 June, the production comes from award-winning Immersion Theatre and promises a lively musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s much-loved story.

The performance will follow Mowgli’s adventures alongside familiar characters including Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, with a strong focus on audience interaction .

Set against the backdrop of the Palace’s gardens, the event is designed as a relaxed outdoor experience, with visitors encouraged to bring picnic blankets and enjoy the surroundings. Food and drink will also be available from the on-site café.

Ticket prices are set at £14 for children, £20 for adults, and £56 for a family of four, making it an accessible summer outing for local residents.

The performance is part of a wider programme of outdoor theatre at Fulham Palace this summer, with further productions already scheduled:

Pinocchio – 5 July 2026
Romeo and Juliet – 23 August
