Music By the Bridge Continues at All Saints Fulham

Enjoy a mix of musical genres from Fuzion Four in April

Music by the Bridge, a popular series of free monthly Friday evening concerts featuring talented young and often local musicians, continues this spring.

The next concert on Friday 12 April features Fuzion Four: We've Got Rhythm.

Fuzion four are Bob Broad - Keyboards, Oliver Haffenden - Sax, Erica Simpson - Cello and Jake Colmanovich - Cajon.

Their music ranges across musical genres, from South American tango and bossa nova to European baroque, ballads and more.

Fuzion Four plays unique arrangements of tantalising tangos, including Libertango and La Cumbarsita as well as chill-out bossa novas and swinging jazz pieces. Their unusual line-up of cello (Erica), saxophone (Ollie), piano (Bob) and cajon percussion (Jake) lends itself well to various musical genres including Latin, jazz standards and light classical.

Their music ranges from Piazolla to Gershwin, from Bach to Pachelbel, and from Miles Davis and Karl Jenkins. As well as aforementioned tangos Fuzion will perform Karl Jenkins dramatic Palladio, and jazz-tinted versions of Bach’s Prelude in C, and Pachelbel’s Canon. Other works include Summer Samba and Black Orpheus (bossa novas), Beautiful Love and Blue ‘n Green (ballads), Come Fly with Me and Fly me to the Moon (swing).

Each Music by the Bridge concert starts at 7.15pm, with doors open from 6.45pm, and lasts for about 45 minutes, so it is a lovely way to start your weekend.

Everyone is welcome and entry is free, with wine and soft drinks available and a retiring collection held to support music at All Saints.
