Music By the Bridge is Back at All Saints Fulham

First concert on 2 February features jazz from the Gorodi/Braysher Quartet

Music by the Bridge, a very popular series of monthly Friday evening concerts, featuring talent young and often local musicians, is back at All Saints Church, by Putney Bridge on the first Friday of each month.

Each concert from February through till July starts at 7.15pm, with doors open from 6.45pm, and lasts for about 45 minutes, so it is a lovely way to start your weekend.

Everyone is welcome and entry is free, with wine and soft drinks available and a retiring collection held to support music at All Saints.

The first concert on Friday 2 February features The Gorodi/Braysher Quartet - an award-winning and original young jazz quartet shedding new light on the great jazz standards.

Musicians Miguel Gorodi and Sm Braysher playing at All Saints Fulham on 2 February

The quartet, Miguel Gorodi (pictured left) on trumpet; Sam Braysher (right) on saxophone; Dave Ingamells on drum and Calum Gourlay on bass, perform 'contrafacts'– their own original melodies composed over the structure and harmony of standards that all jazz-lovers will know and love.

They will be followed on 9 March by Juliette Giovacchini (cello) and Andrew Yiangou (piano), a brilliant young duo bringing a beautiful classical programme, including Grieg’s Cello Sonata.
