Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival Back for Eighth Year

Star studded line-up announced for two days in September

The star studded line-up for the eighth Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival has been announced.

The free festival, which has become an annual highlight in Fulham's calendar, is hosted by Imperial Wharf's developer St George and will take place on Thursday September 13 and Saturday September 15 in the development's main boulevard.

The exciting two day programme will begin on Thursday with MOBO award winning saxophonist Courtney Pine supported by Abimaro & the Free, a soulful folk blend beaming with beautiful melodies and smooth vocals.

The festival will continue on Saturday 15, opening with the Hackney Colliery Band and Cuban ensemble The Cuban Jazz Project.

During the afternoon there will be performances from trumpeter Matthew Halsall and a duet from world-class virtuoso and guitar-great John Etheridge and Christian Garrick.

The Saturday evening session welcomes double MOBO award winner YolanDa Brown, followed by the powerful vocalist and classically trained harpist The Lucinda Belle Orchestra.

Saturday’s headline act will be internationally acclaimed British soul singer Omar.

The Jazz Festival has been programmed and produced in partnership with St George by leading event production company ESIP, also behind the international concert series ‘Made in the UK’ and the Global Mix record label.
