A new Korean barbeque and noodle restaurant is planning to open on the New Kings Road.

Soju, which currently has branches in Reading and Malaysia, has made an application to refit the former premises of tapas restaurant Tendido Cuatro at numbers 108-110 which has been vacant for some time.

The application states that the work is due to commence in November of this year with completion scheduled for January 2022.

The plans suggest that the restaurant would have about 35 covers.

Soju offers what it describes as authentic Korean cuisine at its existing restaurants with rice and noodle dishes as well staples of that country’s cuisine such as boolgogi.
