SNT officers swoop on local property to rescue an abandoned duck
Police officers from Parsons Green and Walham and Palace Riverside remained unruffled when asked to quack a challenging case - rescuing a duck which had been abandoned in a property in Fulham.
The two police teams swooped on the address and soon the duck was winging its way in a squad car to a new safe location.
Palace Riverside SNT kept the public informed, tweeting @PalaceRivers: "Working with our neighbours @MPSParsonsGreen to take this duck to a animal shelter in Catford.
"We see all sorts in this job."
Shortly after, Parsons Green and Walham's Constable David Williams reported the happy ending to the story @MPSParsonsGreen, tweeting: "The Duck is now in the care of nature rescue. See you all back out on the Ward soon."
