Alderville Road Murder: Two Further Arrests Made  


Alderville Road garden dug up following tip-off

Police have announced two further arrests have been made in connection with yesterday's discovery of a body, wrapped in carpet, buried under a patio in Alderville Road in Parsons Green.

A new statement says that on the afternoon of March 10, two men aged 47 and 52 were arrested and taken into custody.

Police had already arrested the main resident of the property, 38a Alderville Road is Roy Heath, 52, who is reportedly suffering from terminal cancer and in hospital receiving treatment. He was bailed to return at the end of March pending further enquiries.

A post-mortem will be held at Fulham mortuary tomorrow,  12 Friday March.

An incident room has opened at Belgravia under DI Tim Dobson of the Homicide and Serious Crime Squad. DI Dobson says: "It is believed that the body may have been at the scene between 15 and 20 years. Whilst enquiries are underway to establish the identity of this person, we are keen to speak to anyone who may have lived in this road around that time.
