Fulham Library Welcomes Marilyn Heward Mills


Author will talk about how experience has shaped her writing

Marilyn was born in Switzerland and brought up in Ghana, the daughter of a Ghanaian father and a Swiss mother. 

She was a practicing lawyer for 12 years in London before publishing her first novel, Cloth Girl. Published by Sphere in 2007, it was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award.

Her latest book, The Association of Foreign Spouses follows the adventures of Eva, Dahlia, Yelena and Margrit in Ghana during the turbulent 1980s.

Copies will be available for purchase and signing.
