The Boundary pub on Kings Road
March 17, 2025
The ‘first pub in Fulham’ has been reopened by a team of sporting heroes.
Cricketing icons Eoin Morgan, Brendon McCullum, Jos Buttler, Paul Stirling, Sam Billings and Graeme Smith have joined up with England rugby star Jamie George to co-found the pub, which they have renamed The Boundary.
The new title is appropriate as the pub, at 541 Kings Road, is the first building on the Fulham side of Stanley Bridge, the border with Chelsea.
In recent years it has had several different names and styles, including the Jam Tree and The Lost Hours. In October 2022 it was refurbished and relaunched as King’s House, but this was short lived and the building has remained empty and sealed for the last year.
Now after being refurbished once again, it is back in business in the hands of a new owners.
Announcing the launch, they say, “ Welcome to The Boundary, the ultimate neighbourhood bar in South West London and Fulham, where live entertainment and socialising come together.
“ The Boundary is all about bringing people together for great sport, delicious drinks and unforgettable moments with friends."
As you would expect, there is an emphasis on sport, with current action showing on large screens. The pub is on two floors, with a dining area on the first floor and an extensive garden at the back.
It also appears to be taking a more down to earth approach than the previous owners. Whereas King's House was offering “an elevated Basque English menu”, The Boundary is currently recruiting pizza chefs, and says pizzas “will be at the heart of our offering”.
