The new club would be in a currently vacant unit within Parsons Green Depot
May 25, 2026
The Kensington Pickleball Club is preparing to open a new home in Fulham, with plans to transform a vacant unit at Parsons Green Depot into a dedicated sports and social venue.
According to a licensing application submitted to Hammersmith & Fulham Council (2026/00604/LAPR), the club intends to operate from Unit 8A, 33 –39 Parsons Green Lane SW6 4HH, a light ‑industrial courtyard currently occupied by small restoration firms, antique dealers and property ‑services businesses. Indoor climbing venue Climbing Co Fulham also operates from the estate. The proposal would see the space repurposed as a pickleball facility, coaching academy and community hub, combining sport and social activity under one roof.
The application seeks permission to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises between 12 pm and 10 pm daily, with opening hours from 7 am to 10.30 pm. The club describes its mission as making pickleball “accessible, structured and community ‑driven ” in London, offering coaching, tournaments and social sessions for players of all levels.
The club currently operates from Holland Park School and Kensington Primary Academy, where it runs regular coaching and open ‑play sessions. It is DUPR ‑certified, meaning members ’ tournament results contribute to their official global ranking, and its DUPR ‑approved coach provides assessments for new players.
For the existing clubs, Founder Membership costs £399.99 per year, while Gold Memberships start at £39.99 per month (or £69.99 for families). A Platinum Membership, priced at £197.99, includes free weekly open play on Friday evenings. All memberships run for a minimum of twelve months, with two months free if paid annually. At existing venues, members can book courts for £24 per hour via the club’s app. It is not confirmed that these rates would include the Parsons Green venue when it opens.
The move to Parsons Green Depot would mark the club’s first permanent base, positioning it among a cluster of creative and specialist businesses in a site that has evolved from traditional workshops into a mixed ‑use community space.
