Fire Rips Through Kitchen of Joe's Brasserie's

Fulham restaurant closed as damage is inspected

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in the kitchen of Joe's Brasserie on Wandsworth Bridge Road on Sunday morning.

London Fire Brigade says that Fire crews from Fulham, Chelsea, Wandsworth and Battersea fire stations attended the incident and spent four hours putting out the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 10.49am and the incident was over by 3.20pm.

Joe's is normally a popular meeting place for Sunday brunch, but a spokesman for owner Brinkley's Resturants, confirmed no one was injured by the fire.

Around a quarter of the basement kitchen and a small part of the restaurant was damaged in the blaze, and Joe's Brasserie is now closed while the cause of the fire is being investigated.
