Six people, all in their early twenties, have been arrested after a mass brawl broke out in a bar in Fulham leaving several injured.

The police say they were called at 11:45pm on Wednesday, 16 June to the bar in Wandsworth Bridge Road, following reports of a large group of people fighting and armed with knives.

Several people were stabbed although none of their injuries has been deemed life threatening.

The arrested men were held on suspicion of violent disorder and GBH. They were taken into custody and later released on bail.

Detective Constable Jenny Carney is investigating. She said, "Enquiries so far have established that there appeared to be a minor disagreement between a small number of people that then erupted into a brawl in which chairs were thrown across the bar.

"The bar was very busy that night and I believe there will have been many people who filmed what happened. I urge those people to make contact as soon as possible; two men are lucky not to have sustained more serious injuries, while six others have been arrested. Please give us your information, video and images so we can get to the bottom of what has happened here and bring any offenders to justice."
