The teenager killed in Parsons Green last Thursday has been named as 18-year-old Hani Solomon from Wandsworth.

He was found with stab wounds on Ackmar Road at 6.42pm on Thursday, 11 February after police were called to reports of a fight taking place involving a group of males.

Despite the efforts of paramedics including those from the London Air Ambulance Service, Hani was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:28pm. A post mortem later confirmed the cause of death as a knife wound to the chest.

Police subsequently attended a west London hospital after a 23-year-old man admitted himself. They were confirmed as not life-threatening and he was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains under a police guard in hospital.

“However, I would still like to hear from any witnesses who could help this investigation. I am specifically keen to speak to anybody who has information or footage of two males on scooters who were seen riding away from the scene at speed shortly after the attack from Novello Street.

"Something which may seem insignificant to you could be very significant for the investigation, so please let us know about it. I can assure those with information that, if you have concerns around contacting us, I will ensure your confidentiality.”
