A teenager is fighting for his life after being the victim of a hit and run in Fulham this Sunday (18 August).

Police say they were called to the Sullivan Court estate off Broomhouse Lane, SW6 at 2.43pm following reports of a man injured.

They found an 18-year-old male injured in the road. He had been riding a bicycle when he was hit by a car. He has been taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene.

Following the incident a Section 60 was authorised from 12pm Monday until 0300am 20 August. This gave police officers extra powers to stop and search over the whole borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 4407 of August 18, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
