Two Sought in Connection With a Fulham Knife-point Robbery

Images of two men have been released that police wish to speak to in connection with a knife-point robbery that took place in Fulham.

At about 1.20am on Sunday, 29 October, two women had just left an address in Napier Avenue when they were approached by five men on bicycles. The group came from the Hurlingham Road direction and were travelling in a northward direction towards Napier Avenue.

Two of the men demanded the women hand over their rucksacks and, when they refused, one was pushed to the ground and threatened with a knife by one of the suspects.


Second man police wish to speak to

The men made off with both of their bags which contained their purses, bank cards, cash, mobile phones and other personal property.

Later that morning the stolen bank cards were used in a number of small newsagents and food shops in the Fulham Broadway and Portobello Road areas.

Newly released CCTV images, captured two of the suspects making contactless transactions at 9pm at Cash Counts newsagents in Fulham Broadway.

They are described as men, aged approximately 18 years old. The suspect wielding the knife is described as a light skinned black man, around 5ft 10ins tall, clean shaven and wearing a hooded top/jacket.

Detective Constable Ben Richards, from Fulham CID, said, "This was a frightening ordeal for the women and we’re asking for the public’s help in identifying the two men in the photos."
