Police were responding to reports of a drone being flown near Wandsworth prison
Hammersmith and Fulham Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted before the Chelsea versus Tottenham match on Saturday, 26 November.
They say at around 5.15pm, the victim, who is in his thirties was punched on the side of the head near the Britannia Gate entrance to Stamford Bridge.
The man fell to the ground, and was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury. He has since been discharged from hospital.
As yet, there has been no arrest and officers from Hammersmith and Fulham are investigating the attack.
