Helen Fraser and Stephen Bernard found stabbed to death in Fulham Court
Police have confirmed the identities of the Fulham couple found stabbed to death in a suspected murder-suicide following formal identification of their bodies.
Police say they were called at around 4.25am on Monday, 20 June to reports of a stabbing at a residential address in Fulham Court.
Officers and London Ambulance Service found a man, Stephen Michael Bernard, and a woman, Helen Fraser, both aged 50, inside the address suffering stab injuries.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination at Uxbridge Mortuary on Tuesday, 21 June found the cause of death for Helen Fraser to be multiple stab wounds.
The cause of death for Stephen Michael Bernard was found to be a self-inflicted stab wound to the chest.
Specially trained family liaison officers are supporting families of the couple, who lived together in a second floor flat in the Fulham Road Estate.
The investigation continues and is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Mark Lawson, Homicide and Major Crime Command.
Detectives are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident and say an inquest will open and adjourn in due course.
