Murder investigation launched after death on Landridge Road
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a woman in Fulham.
The body of a 33 year old female was found at in Romily Court off Landridge Road, SW6 on Saturday night (28th March).
The police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 9.30pm and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation. He has been bailed to return on a date in late May.
Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, but await formal identification. The woman is not a United Kingdom national and next of kin have not yet been informed.
An incident room has opened at Lewisham under DCI Rebecca Reeves of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
DCI Reeves said: "I am appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything unusual or suspicious in Romily Court on Saturday, or in the previous few days, to call police."
