One of eight properties searched after arrest of man in Greenford
A business address in Fulham is among properties which have been searched by officers from the MPS Counter Terrorism Command, SO15 following the arrest of a 36 year-old man in Greenford.
The man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism and suspicion of terrorist financing and has since
has been bailed to a date in October 2014.
Six homes across the south of England were raided as part of an investigation in a group of suspected Islamist extremists.
Properties in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, Hounslow, Walthamstow in east London, Brentford as well as one in Greenford and another residential address in Ealing have been searched along with the business address in Fulham.
A number of cars were also searched.
Two men were arrested at a further two addresses on suspicion to commit grievous bodily harm.
Police say enquiries continue.
